This group channels the classic sounds of Bill Monroe, The Stanley Brothers, and Flatt & Scruggs as well as contemporary groups like The David Grisman Band, and the Old Crow Medicine Show. Our fiddler knows over 300 great bluegrass tunes like the Orange Blossom Special, Devil Went Down To Georgia and Red-Haired Boy.
The Dewds have been out-on-the-town since 2002. For several years they have performed regularly at the Biltmore Estate, Barley’s Taproom, Balsam Mountain Preserve near Sylva, NC and Harrahs Casino and Hotel in Cherokee. Known for their up-close-and-personal style, the Dewds provide great mountain entertainment filled with hot fiddle and guitar licks on top of nice harmony singing. In cowboy hats, vests bluejeans and boots, these boys bring on the best of old-time country and bluegrass melodies.
